Covid-19 Office Cleaning Template Dublin

When it comes to a worldwide pandemic, you can never be too careful. Covid-19 has highlighted the need for clean and safe environments.

When you return to work, or if you have already, you need to make sure that your environment is as safe as can be.

The covid-19 virus can live on different surfaces for different amounts of time. Therefore, you should always make sure your place of work is cleaned once a day once the majority of personnel have left so social distancing can be maintained.

You need to do a pre-clean check. In this check, you identify the elements that need to be given top priority covid-cleaning.

These elements include bathrooms, workstations, keyboards, phones, light switches, doorknobs, and other common touchpoints.

Pay special attention to high traffic areas such as elevators and kitchens.

Once you have completed your pre-clean check and drawn up a list of special covid-cleaning tasks, it is time to get cleaning.

Make sure that the products you use are appropriate for the surfaces they are being used on (porous vs non-porous).

The appropriate products must be able to eliminate the virus, the best way to do this is to use a diluted bleach mixture or a 70% alcohol-based cleaning agent.

Cleaners need to use appropriate PPE wear to avoid damage to their hands or from inhalation if they are using harsh chemicals.

During cleaning, ensure that every nook and cranny gets cleaned and is left sanitized for the following workday.

Once cleaning is complete, you need to do a post-clean procedure. This procedure makes sure that your cleaning equipment is clean.

Wash out buckets and sanitize cleaning cloths and mops. If laundry has been done, clean the laundry bin/basket and wipe down any machines.

In these uncertain times, be certain that you are doing everything in your power to stay safe and stay healthy.
